The beautiful Abbey of Fossanova was built towards the end of the twelfth century and is considered as a transaction between the Romanesque and the Gothic. It took almost 50 years to realize it. It should be noted that the abbey inside is practically devoid of frescoes. St. Thomas Aquinas spent the last days of his life between prayers and meditation. For those who want to deepen he can find info at this Wikipedia link Fossanova Abbey.
Paolo and Valentina a young couple from Latina got married on October 14th 2017, the wedding was really very suggestive thanks to the beautiful abbey and the reception on the sea in Terracina. During the ceremony (as you can see in the video at the bottom to the page) at a certain point a ray of sun has illuminated only the spouses making the fairy tale scenario. After the exit and the classic launch of the rice, the couple took a trip around the abbey with a vintage sidecar. With the same sidecar they made their arrival at the restaurant.
Wedding reception at Grappolo d’Uva
The Grappolo d’Uva is on the seafront of terracina and is definitely a reference for that part of the coast. The temple of Jupiter is the setting for the beautiful scenery of the location. after a short aperitif, the newlyweds together with friends and relatives tasted a good lunch of course, based on fish and at sunset time the newlyweds have walked along the seashore with photographers and videomakers for the usual ritual photos with some guests curious. The cake was made in a special corner overlooking the sea making the frame truly unique. Here the site of the Grappolo d’Uva
